Professional learning

School-based professional learning workshops and programs enable staff to explore new ideas and consolidate existing skills. Whole staff groups, leadership teams and wellbeing teams benefit from human-centred learning that prioritises staff mental health and promotes positive, safe and effective ways of working together, with students, and with families within the realities of contemporary Australian school life.

Scroll down for details about our new Evolve: Cultivating Wellbeing at Work program, launching in Term 3 2026.

Cultivating wellbeing at work

evolve offers school staff a fresh, practical perspective on cultivating their own and others’ wellbeing within the school workplace.

The workshops explore four key elements that staff can meaningfully develop and draw on:

  • Mindsets – developing ways of thinking that support wellbeing and adaptability
  • Skills – building practical skills to respond to the demands of school life
  • Conditions – understanding and responding to the conditions in which we work
  • Resources – recognising and making the most of available supports and resources

Together, these elements help staff respond to school stressors, support their wellbeing, and continue to evolve and flourish.

Practical support for school staff

evolve is designed to be embedded into everyday school work-life, helping staff build practical approaches they can use in response to changing demands and workplace conditions.

Workshops include:

  • Live, engaging at-school workshops ranging from 1–3 hours
  • Four workshop formats designed for staff, teams, leaders and executives
  • A practical toolkit of resources to support workplace wellbeing
  • A supportive approach that allows participants to start where they are
  • A focus on building shared understanding around our collective responsibility for mentally healthy workplaces
