Compassionate Schools Melinda Phillips promoting Teacher Wellbeing

Supporting Workplace Mental Health in Schools

This webinar explores contemporary approaches to supporting workplace mental health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on the unique context of schools.

Drawing on positive organisational scholarship, integrated workplace mental health models and current Australian guidance around psychosocial hazards at work, the webinar provides a practical overview of how individual and organisational approaches can work together to support healthier, more positive workplaces.

Through two applied case studies focused on the education sector, participants will explore examples of workplace mental health practice at both an individual and whole-school level.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Explain how an integrated approach to workplace mental health can contribute to flourishing at work.
  • Identify positive psychology-informed interventions at both an individual and organisational level that can support worker mental health.
  • Explore examples of contemporary approaches and effective practice in school workplace mental health.
